The Copper Kettle Tearoom dining room interior

A tearoom on the Forge Quarter

The Copper Kettle Tearoom

Tea poured from copper, scones still warm from the range.

A marble table by the stove, copper kettles steaming on every shelf, the forge street glowing through the window.

The Copper Kettle Tearoom attraction poster

The ember-house tearoom, wedged between two working forges. A riveted copper samovar the size of a barrel steams on the counter, kettles line the iron shelves in every size ever hammered, and the range under the counter is never allowed to go out. The scones come out at eleven and are gone by twenty past.

The samovar is tapped on the hour. Ask for the seat nearest the range in winter.
