A pirate tavern on the pier
Dine like a pirate. The catch is fresh; the grog is dark.
Long tables below the Jolly Roger, portholes showing the storm outside, candles dripping onto ship-timber.

A ship-timber tavern moored at the end of the quay. The flag hangs heavy above the bar. Portholes show grey waves and lightning. Long tables are lit by candles stuck in empty bottles, and platters of crab, lobster, and chowder arrive on boards worn smooth by years of elbows.
The kitchen opens onto the dock. If the boats are late, the chowder is thicker.
