The Great Chase

The sky goes black. Then a captain and his crew appear in pinpoints of light, hunting a flying boy across all four districts. The crocodile takes up the chase, the mermaids pass it to the fairies, the whole field streaks over the rooftops — and at the Clocktower the two rivals stop, and shake hands under a single star. Seven vignettes, told entirely in light, two hundred feet up.
