The Ironmonger's Hall
Everything iron, under one glass roof, with the forge still lit at the end of it.
Once the wheelwright's shed, now the longest room on the street. Sunlight falls through the glass roof onto walls hung with hundreds of hinges, latches, hooks and lanterns, and long trestle tables of fittings sorted into wooden bins. At the far end the forge is still lit, and if you wait long enough somebody will strike the anvil just to hear the hall ring.
