The Clipper

A gold-trimmed merchant clipper at permanent anchor in Lantern Harbour. The grand cabin runs the width of the stern, its curved gallery windows opening onto a moonlit forest of lantern-lit masts across the water. Rolled charts, brass compasses and a captain's table wait beneath swinging oil lanterns, while a spiral brass stair climbs to the officers' walk and the stateroom suites above. Below decks, hammock berths still swing to the tide.
