The Lantern Glade
Thara — come in peace.
Every traveller arrives here. Where the wide river leaves the jungle and opens into a misty glade, the Lumen have grown a village of woven glass between trees the size of cathedrals — translucent halls that glow from within, bridges of braided light strung trunk to trunk, and lanterns of living moss along every walkway. The river below carries luminous amber lilies. It is the calmest place on the continent, and the doorway to all the rest.
