A snowbound Victorian village under a green-and-violet aurora. Deep drifts along the kerbs, garland on every lamppost, warm amber light spilling out of seven shopfronts, and at the end of the street a great timber lodge with a lit tree standing in front of it. The Ornament Works keeps its windows glowing all night; the Cocoa House keeps the copper urns hot.
