The story
- A heat-wave summer; the low berries are gone.
- The best fruit hangs far out of reach at the top of the canes.
- Squabbling breaks out over what's left below.
- Buster arrives, and everyone freezes mid-argument.
- He bends the canes down gently and holds them there all afternoon.
- Purple faces everywhere. Buster is finally, properly, a neighbour.
