The story

  1. Somebody has knocked over Paddy Beaver's woodpile. Everyone looks at Reddy.
  2. Reddy insists he is innocent. Nobody believes him.
  3. He sulks, then sets out to find the real culprit himself.
  4. It was a falling branch in last night's wind — and Reddy proves it.
  5. The forest apologises, awkwardly.
  6. Reddy realises they doubted him because of every other time.

What We Learned

Trust is built slowly and spent quickly. Tell the truth even when nobody is watching.
