Chug-a-rum. Sit down. Listen.
Grandfather Frog has sat on the same big flat stone at the edge of the Smiling Pool for longer than anyone can remember, and he intends to go on sitting there.
He is the oldest person in the Green Forest and the closest thing it has to a school. When somebody is confused, frightened or wrong, they end up at the Smiling Pool.
He begins every answer with 'Chug-a-rum', pauses far longer than necessary, and is almost always right.
